Influenced by Buddhism and Shinto, Japan’s indigenous spirituality with its mystical healing arts, Reiki 靈氣 at it's core is a spiritual practice that one embodies and the energy that emanates from the practitioner is Reiki. In simple terms, Rei 靈 can be translated as “mysterious, miraculous or sacred” and ki 氣 means “invisible energy”; combined the two kanji characters in Reiki 靈氣 can be understood as “invisible energy with mysterious or miraculous power.”

Our plant medicines are mostly homegrown from our own garden or harvested in Mt. Shasta in prayer and with permission to see who wants to come down the mountain to help heal the people. Most of the time, they are very generous and happy to assist! Held annually on Mount Shasta—named after the Shasta Indian Nation—this six-day Shoden (Level I) and Okuden (Level II) Reiki 靈氣 training is designed for both novice and seasoned practitioners, as well as those drawn to the healing arts as a spiritual path.
